The latest news from the Security Industry Authority (SIA)
  1. On 14 September 2017, at Llandudno Magistrates Court, Mark Pursglove and was found guilty of working without a licence, Rachel Williams for aiding and abetting Mr Pursglove.
  2. On 18 August, at Leeds Magistrates Court, Aaron Mohammed was fined for working without a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence.
  3. The SIA welcomes the spotlight being shone on the continuing need for recruitment and retention of good quality staff in the events sector.
  4. At Teesside Crown Court, on 30 June 2017, Christopher Catchpole was sentenced to 32 months imprisonment following a guilty plea.
  5. Take part in counter terrorism training as a part of Operation Griffin, organised by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).
